Research On The Construction Of Social Trauma Memory In Archives

Social traumatic memory refers to the psychological shadows and painful memories generated by the state,society,and collectives after traumatic events such as wars,plagues,and disasters.After a long period of time,they are still unforgettable and unresolved.This kind of memory is called social traumatic memory.(referred to as "traumatic memory")In the discussion of traumatic memory,this paper mainly discusses the causes of trauma,and divides traumatic memory into artificial social traumatic memory(referred to as "artificia trauma")and disaster social traumatic memory(referred to as "disaster trauma").Among them,the discussion is based on human trauma,supplemented by disaster trauma.By constructing traumatic memory and exerting the value of traumatic memory,the Archives could console victims,learn lessons,avoid historical reenactment,promote social identity,stimulate patriotic enthusiasm and unite national strength.Just like the traumatic memory of the Nanjing Massacre,it always motivates the Chinese people to remember the national humiliation and work hard.The traumatic memory of the Wenchuan earthquake has made the whole society feel the spirit of earthquake relief,while alerting the society to the sense of urgency and disaster prevention and rescue work.As the "memory palace" and the patriotic education base,the archives need to shoulder their own responsibilities and missions to construct the traumatic memories of the nation and the region.This thesis uses the theory of trauma theory and archive memory theory,and uses literature research method,case study method and comparative analysis method to construct related concepts,practical work,specific cases,existing problems and corresponding problems of traumatic memory in archives.The countermeasures were analyzed and studied.From the practical point of the archives traumatic memory construction,the positioning requirements of the patriotic base of the archives,the forgotten phenomenon of traumatic memory in society,the Rashomon phenomenon of traumatic memory,the current status of traumatic memory witnesses,and the construction of traumatic memory in archives provide the necessity;the basis of traumatic archives,the support of the public,and the relevant practical experience of the archives provide feasibility for the archives to construct traumatic memories;at the same time,the archives construct traumatic memory can enhance the influence of the archives,the spiritual comfort of the witnesses,the improvement of the traumatic memory discourse in China and the enhancement of the community consciousness of human destiny.Combining with the actual work of the domestic archives on the construction of the traumatic memory of the Nanjing Massacre and the Wenchuan Earthquake,the author puts forward four steps including collection,arrangement,utilization,promotion and feedback.It can be divided into three construction models:independent construction of memory archives,inter-library cooperation construction,and inter-agency cooperation.The article suggests that there are still many problems in the current construction work,such as restriction of traditional work concept,the shortcomings of the talent team,the problem of traumatic file resources,the dilemma of traumatic memory oral collection and the influence of the international environment.The article also proposes solutions:strengthen the training of talents,enrich the resources of traumatic archives,strengthen measures for oral collection and pay more attention to cooperation.
