As a non-profit institution with the purpose of serving social development,museums not only carry out cultural relic protection and research,exhibition,communication and education,but also actively pursue the development path of assuming social responsibility,adapting to social changes,promoting cultural development,encouraging public participation and protecting the world’s cultural diversity in recent years.Looking back at the development path of museums,we can see that museums have made a lot of efforts to achieve a broader social development service goal.Especially with the development of The Times,with the blessing of Internet digital technology,museums have shaped cultural scene consumption experience activities completely different from traditional museums,in order to promote the cultural connotation of museums to be more widely disseminated,which has significantly improved the social participation of museums.In the digital era,how to maintain the connection between people with different cultural backgrounds through innovative cultural consumption activities,realize cultural sharing,promote the harmonious development of society,shape the cultural world,and even maintain the development of the world has become an urgent issue for museums in the global digital era.From the perspective of communication ritual,this paper first explains the "significance" of cultural consumption activities in digital museums.The digital museum is defined as a media place that can realize cultural sharing,where participants and cultural symbols interact and influence each other.Through digital technology,museums can give full play to the power of cultural communication online,offline and in different Settings around the world,so as to influence the public.At present,major museums in the world are constantly launching various types of digital exhibitions,and gradually moving toward digitalization,intelligence and networking.This interactive digital museum development mode uses participatory cultural consumption activities to drive the experience economy,which enables museums to promote the development of cultural industry to a new form of business,while also achieving certain communication and economic results.The application of Internet technology enables museums to enter the public life through digital technology,making it possible for culture to fully penetrate the society.From the cultural perspective of communication ritual,this paper first analyzes the practical effects of cultural communication in digital museums at the current stage,conducts in-depth interviews with digital museum visitors,museum staff and museum directors,and deeply understands how museums exert social value and influence the public in the new museology theory.To further explore the meaning and essence behind the cultural consumption behavior of digital museum.Museums should make good use of digital technology and digital narrative techniques to interpret Chinese traditional culture and spiritual connotation in front of the public,reflect digital humanity,so as to build a cultural community and promote the harmonious development of social relations,so that the public,as the main body of society,can promote the orderly development of civilization.Combining digital and humanistic issues,we use digital technology to build cultural memory scenarios,help people face the new problems of human beings in the digital age,jointly deduce the correct development direction of civilization,burst out new values and create new culture through interaction and communication.Culture does not die,only the source of continuous water,Hall’s "beyond culture" wants to express exactly this dynamic process of cultural creation,digital museum is not only human preservation of past culture.The space will be the treasure for mankind to face the future.
