After intensive study of how to improve the quality of cigarette in tobacco industry, we found that the storage environment in the process of cigarette production and sales has a great impact on the quality of cigarettes. Traditionally, the environment quality is measured and recorded manually which leads to the fact that many administrators are lack of effective monitoring tools in respect to storage environment. Raise of the level in information technology provides a new way for improving the storage management strategy in the production and marketing stages of tobacco industry. The study of the establishment of effective remote environmental monitoring system of tobacco warehouse has very important practical significance and application value.This thesis aims at designing of the remote environmental monitoring system, the major work done in the thesis are as follows:By this stage the analysis to need of tobacco warehouse environmental monitoring has been stricken, as making comparison with mainstream of wireless communication technology program, to determine the solution of new short-range, low-cost, low-power wireless transmission protocol SimpliciTI to organize the wireless sensor network and distributed system.The thesis designed the hardware platform of this monitoring system:CC2510 single chip RF-based monitoring node and a concentrator based on ARM7 processor STR710.Monitoring node is used to monitor environmental temperature and humidity within tobacco stacking and storage, concentrator nodes manage all monitoring node in one warehouse and design a variety of communication. Functional integrity of the system hardware design, also low power consumption, installation of flexible are all reached.In-depth study the SimpliciTI protocol function modules, system structure and working mechanism, implemented SimpliciTI protocol in hardware platforms and point to point communication process. Designed system application program based on SimpliciTI protocol, made a further improvement on SimpliciTI protocol's frequency agility and dormancy mechanism in practice, lower energy consumption and more reliable data transmission for the whole network.The results manifest that the system solution is an easy implementation, low power, low-cost solution, also is a very efficient way of environmental monitoring. A short distance wireless communication combine wired communication or long-distance wireless communication can complement each other. And wireless environmental monitoring in the field of study to make more complex and laid a good foundation of practice.
