Wireless sensor networks (WSN) is made up of a group of sensor network nodes, which constituted by the way self-organizing multi-hop wireless communication network system. Real-time acquisition of sensor nodes distributed in the region to monitor a variety of information objects, and sent to machine by the way of the wireless communication. Environmental Monitoring is an important application area of Wireless sensor networks. To collect environmental data within a given region, unattended sensor nodes need to work long time under harsh environmental conditions. Sensor node software design work for the node provides an important guarantee.This paper describes a software design based on wireless sensor network node of Zigbee technology. Node Software Design based on Zigbee2006 Protocol Stack, The paper first give a brief introduction of Zigbee2006,and then the node software design in detail for the general, including software design and workflow. In addition the nodes involved serial communications protocol and wireless communication protocols, communication protocol ensure secure data transmission. Node in the work state achieves functions of data collection, data storage and delivery, network information accessing and uploading and management of the node Battery Charging. Software designs implement these functions of nodes; and improving the software design by testing. Finally, the whole system of field experiments have been described and analyzed the problems in the experiment, and then analysis the subsequent improvement program.Wild experiments showed that this system has advantage of real-time, low power, high reliability, and remote control and so on. System met the design of the initial request, and has broad application prospect in environmental monitoring.
