As an available method for complex phenomena and data field, the technique of visualization has become a hotspot in many fields. Particle system is an effective way for visualizing "fuzzy" objects in a variety of context, especially in the the simulation of fuzzy boundary objects (such as fire, snow and other dynamic natural objects). In this thesis, A visualization model based on particle system has been Put forward to visualize the flame burning of ceramic roller kiln, which includes the visual model of flame propagation and the turbulent flow visualization model.After analysing the burning phenomenon and characteristics of ceramic roller kiln, this thesis introduces particle system as the basic method to modeling the flame and introduces the basic principles of particle systems, the composition of modules in connection with the burning flame of ceramic roller kiln.In the flame diffusing visualization sub-model, this thesis discusses the mehtod of fire simulation based on particle system. It discusses the initialization and variation of the attributes of fire particles detailedly including shape, size, color, transparence, position, speed, lifetime and so on. It also discusses the motion and rendering of fire partieles. In order to enhance the realism of flame burning in the ceramic roller kiln, this thesis has used texture mapping, blending processing, collision detection technology etc.In order to model the turbulence phenomena in combustion from the angle of visual simulation, a virtual turbulence field model has been constructed. The turbulence field contributed to the flame diffusing particles. Therefore, the motion of a particle is changed, and the profile of flame becomes much more wrinkled. So, this reflect the movement of the flame in the shape and speed because of the turbulence.This thesis also studied on the temperature field and temperature section of ceramic roller kiln for visual displaying. In order to achieve it, the thesis has established a temperature-color mapping table and the CFD calculated data is obtained in accordance with the laws of mesh. Moreover,the thesis also analyzed the problem of temperature section displaying shows less effective and has put forward some methods to improve it.The thesis describes the data structure implementation, some modules such as the temperature field displaying module and the man-machine interactive control module are constructed to establish a three-dimensional interactive simulation system, the system could simulate the combustion process of ceramic roller kiln and visualize the subsequent experiments data.Finally, all of works in this thesis are summed up, and the future works are prospected.
