The Mechanism Of Mobile Media In Public Governance

The mechanism of mobile media in public governance is based on the feature of mobile media'people first and the requirement of public governance's multiple interaction. The mechanism fully affirms the main role of citizens in public governance, and respects the views of the public as much as possible. With mobile media, people can carry out their civil rights and involve in a wider range of public affairs. As a part of e-government, the mechanism could mobilize and coordinate the pubic. Therefore, the mechanism is a new approach by which citizens can express their views and a platform where citizens, government and other organizations are interactive. By reviewing the theories of public governance, the article emphasizes the importance of citizens'participation in public affairs. With analyzing the characteristics of mobile media, the article comes to the people first of mobile media. Meanwhile, I take the incident of PX in Xiamen as a case for studying and analyze the role of mobile media in the incident. Then I combine the current situation of mobile media in the global governance and verify the feasibility of mobile media participating public governance in our country. On the basis of above, I establish an effective mechanism of mobile media in public governance, which could make more and more people to involve in public governance. All those are very important for the harmonious society.
