Nowadays Electronic Countermeasures become increasingly drastic. Radar reconnaissance receiver must have the capabilities of detecting enemy radar signals in real-time. In modern radars, the intercepted probability is always reduced by certain techniques, such as pulse compression technique and ultra-low sidelobe antenna, so the signal detection with low signal-noise ratio is an important research topic in the field of electron reconnaissance.Based on the background of a single channel monopulse radar, the tasks, basic principles and key performance indicators of the single-channel monopulse radar receiver are firstly introduced. Then, the shift point digital auto-correlation detection algorithm is proposed based on a detailed analysis of system sensitivity, and a large number of simulation analysis are conducted. Finally, the high-performance single-channel monopulse radar signal processing system based on the structure of FPGA + DSP is successfully designed. Real-time processing of the echo signal is realized on this system and the test results are gotten. The results show that the system can effectively detect targets and extract the target location information. |
