Current assessing methods of Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM) have some limitations, they can not achieve non-destructive, in vivo, rapid and efficient assessment. Spectral imaging technique is the combination of spectrum analysis technology and image analysis technology. When used in TCM assessing, this method does not need to extract the constituents of TCM, the same sample can be used as sample repeat to achieve non-destructive, in vivo, rapid, efficient and composition distribution assessing.This thesis researches spectral imaging system's control software, data processing software and characteristics spectral curve fitting software design. First of all, development status of TCM assessing and principle application of spectral imaging techniques is introduced, advantages of spectral imaging in the TCM assessing is also analyzed, finally, application of assess TCM use spectral imaging technique is proposed. Then, the spectral imaging system designed by our team is discussed; overall system software framework is designed according to the system composition. It includes two modules:system control and data processing. System control module is consisted by Liquid Crystal Tunable Filter(LCTF) control part, camera control part, and coordinate control part of them; Design of the LCTF control part contains manual and automatic control of wavelength; camera control part includes parameter setting, real-time image display, image capture and image save control; and realized the coordinated control of LCTF and camera in operation control interface of spectral imaging system. At last, the interface of characteristic spectral curve fitting use OpenCV is designed.After testing and experiment verification, results show that the design of system control software is stable, reliable, achieved automatic control of the whole system and realize real-time, quickly image processing.
