There are a great many kinds of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), and they are distributed in vast areas, natural crude medicine resource is very ample in our country. Measuring the content of TCM's ingredient and distinguishing crude medicine is the core part of medicine quality standard. Using spectral imaging method to assess TCM, sample's information at different wavelengths can be obtained, more over, points in the spectral image are corresponding with points on the sample. In this way, the distribution information of TCM's ingredient can be acquired from the spectral images series, besides, the assessing course is accurate, lossless, fast.Under the precondition of researching spectral imaging technology thoroughly, this thesis focus on the experiment equipment, the spectral image acquisition ways, the image processing method and the image processing software programming, the works below are included:Based on the original system used in laboratory, ultraviolet radiation activating method is used to generate fluorescence of TCM, Liquid Crystal Turnnable Filter is used as spectroscope, time of exposure turnnable CMOS camera is used as receiver to build the experiment system, the system's sensitivity and stability are tested. Before the spectral images can be used to assess TCM's species and quality, they should be processed firstly to reduce noise, extract edge and segregate ground. Small Core Convolution Isolated Dote Detecting Method and Self-adaptive Region Grow Image Segmentation Method are proposed based on the characteristic of TCM's spectral images. These two methods can be used to remove the isolated dote noise in the spectral images, then according to different images to adjust image segmentation threshold, in the end, realizing the purpose of eliminating ground noise. Through drawing the spectral image's 3-D spectrum distribution image, TCM's active ingredient distribution and quality can be obtained. At last, a software used to process TCM's spectral image are coded on the Microsoft Visual C++platform. In this software,3-D spectrum distribution image drawing function based on MATLAB and VC hybrid programming is added in. The software's interface is friendly,3-D spectrum distribution image can be drew easily by using it; it can also help us realize TCM's quality assessing conveniently.
