Imaging Spectroscopy is a new generation of photoelectric detecting technique.Due to combines the strong points of spectroscopic technique, imaging technique andimage analysis, can not only obtain2D space information but also spectruminformation, so imaging Spectroscopy is widely used in many fields. The method ofusing spectral imaging to assess Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) is quick,nondestructive, comprehension and non-pollution, it obtained preliminary positiveresult in the areas of base resource identification, authenticity identification andcultivar classification.Under the precondition of researching Imaging Spectroscopy thoroughly, thisthesis focus on the experimental device structure, splicing image, extracting effectivearea, design and application of the data processing software, the works below areincluded: Based on the original system used in laboratory, optimizes the liquid crystalspectral imaging device and improves the stability of the device. Participates in thedesigning of push broom spectral imaging system, and develops software for splicingdistortionless image, corrects the parameters of the splicing image using a target withsimple geometrical feature. Based on image smoothness and motion detection,designs an algorithm which is used to extract effective area of spectral images, theresult of data processing is not affected by manual operation and successfully holdback background noise. Processing software is mainly completed the imagepixel-value differencing, catching the effective region of the captured images,drawing characteristic spectrum, afterwards OpenCV, TeeChart ActiveX and themixed programming of Excel with VC++were used to draw two-dimensionalcharacteristics spectrum curves and export spectroscopic data for secondary digitalprocess.In order to detect the quality change of TCM in different humidity environmentsand its reversibility. Use processing software to obtain spectroscopic data, and takesEuclidean distance and center wavelength to show regularity of the change of Panaxquinquefolium. The result shows that in different humidity environments, the activeconstituent of Panax quinquefolium will change as time goes by, and this kind ofchange is irreversible.
