This study investigates and identifies a museum education and learning theory, methods, functions and user education in the museum. This study is base on the notion that thorough use is an appropriate evaluative measure in a field that lacks a commonly shared, systematic way of measuring the impact of educational exhibition visitors. In the 19th century, the museum was granted a new function the educational. So my own views now museum education and learning is very famous education field in the world, because of so many professionals were discussed about an emerging new paradigm of essential museum functions. Through this situation museum education already taken more valuable part in the functions of museum. So in this topic much will be about the educational and learning role of museums and access. Access to information and knowledge is probably at the greatest point now in our history than it has ever been. Therefore the resulting problems and stresses that this brings, coupled with how to actually use information are core issues that museums need to address urgently. Further to this there is a view that museums need to do more other than being suppliers of educational and learning facilitators, providing tools for visitors to explore their own ideas and reach their own conclusions.Education and learning is a process of active engagement with experience.It is what people do when they want to make sense of the world it may involve.The development or deepening of skills, knowledge, understanding, awareness, values, ideas and feelings and increase in the capacity to reflect, are related to that process. In this research we can find clearly about the sources of education and learning role of museums. Because museums are strongly viewed as being of a range of information sources and an important catalyst for educational and learning, being accessed and actively used by many different kinds of people. The museologist must be conscious combining museum education and learning service with other country. Hence it is the knowledge about the museum which gave a distinct and proud identity to the world In order to determine if museum education and learning is a beneficial practice for museums, this survey was used to obtain information about museum education and learning role for museums. Survey was limited only Liaoning provincial museum in China and Colombo national museum in Sri Lanka. So under this main category I try to collect data for the "museums as sources of education and learning". So these considerations will determine if education and learning can be a beneficial for the future museum especially for China and Sri Lanka.The study of museum as sources of education and learning will require the consideration of the following aspects;5 chapters consist of the paper:Chapter One1.
