Research On Knowledge Service Model Of Library Based On Tacit Knowledge

Tacit knowledge is a kind of exchange knowledge, which is difficult to standardized and describe. Tacit knowledge exists in people's minds, which has a closely relationship with the potential quality of human beings, consciousness, personal experience and knowledge structure. Explicit knowledge is rooted in tacit konwledge, which is the source of knowledge innovation. Tacit knowledge run through the process of the knowledge services and solve the problems for users.Actually, tacit knowledge is always more difficult to regulate and manage than explicit knowledge. The definition of knowledge service of library can be described as: Librarians collect informations, then turn them into knowledge by processing, restructuring and innovation, to meet the knowledge needs and solve the questions of users. The process is always required the librarians to make their analysises of the surrounding environment with their professional knowledge backgroud.The results of knowledge service can meet the individual professional needs and provide decision supports for the people, achieve the knowledge value-added, and realize the value of library service.The social function of libraries was defined as the institution of knowledge service to preserve the historical and cultural heritage and provide lifelong education since the ancient times. The library should take on new missions under the new background. The knowledge service model of library base on tacit knowledge pays more attention to the management of"people"with full use of explicit knowledge, that is, the tacit knowledge management of human resource. As an important carrier of tacit knowledge, human beings are not only the subject of spiritual and cultural attributes, but also the object of control and manage resources. Knowledge-based talent is the most valuable knowledge resources in the knowledge-based economy, and they play an important role in the library's strategic decision-making. The establishment of this model might help to accelerate the speed of knowledge update and the re-creation of the knowledge. For library, it is an innovation of knowledge service model, a reflection of emphasis on tacit knowledge. This is not only meet the development requirements of the timnes,but also adapt to the changing environment of historical and cultural.The first chapter introduces the background and significance of topics, and comparative analysis on the current situation of this issue at home and abroad, overview of content and research methods.In the second chapter focuses on the meaning of the tacit knowledge combing the library and knowledge services of library,characteristics and levels of structure, defines the targets and objectives of knowledge service of library based on tacit knowledge, the analysis and construction of the following two chapters lay the theoretical foundation.In the third chapter is to analyze the necessity of knowledge service of library based on tacit knowledge,demand, then investigate content and style of knowledge service of library based on tacit knowledge, knowledge service of library based on tacit knowledge to include the mining tacit knowledge of the Library,knowledge organization services,knowledge development services, manner which includes the conversion of tacit knowledge library,personalized knowledge service of library, professional services. In this regard, the author puts forward some suggestions and measures:1. Innovate ideas and strengthen awareness of library servicesWe must pay more attention to the role of tacit knowledge, because it affects the service of library knowledge innovation and improved the level service. We must establish the concept of knowledge services; play to the role of tacit knowledge, updated the concept of tradition, establish a sense of competition, use the Long-term strategic vision, take initiative to meet the challenge, use the fundamental way to improve and innovation library service knowledge.2. Improve the quality of Librarians'knowledgeLibrarians is the carrier of library tacit knowledge and the subject of knowledge service, in knowledge economy, put forward higher requirements to knowledge innovation, the Library don't pay enough attention to the tacit knowledge and lack of knowledge talents, so to create a library learning environment, and train the knowledge of literacy about librarians, improve librarian's knowledge and ability structure in odder to provide knowledge services better.3. Use the advanced technology fullyUnder the knowledge economy and Web2.0 environment, technology of database technology, network technology, knowledge acquisition, knowledge management, knowledge management, gave birth to intelligent knowledge tools, such as intellectual, knowledge and other characteristics so research on knowledge service model of library based on tacit knowledge should pay full attention to computer technology, database technology, network technology, applications, which provide technical support for the service of knowledge.
