Children’s Library is a important institution to help children improve intelligence, widentheir horizon and cultivate sentiment. In the reading process, Children can collect information,know the world and access to knowledge. Children’s Library occupies a pivotal position inthe education of minors. Because of the mission and responsibility of the Children’s Library,bring higher requirements to the services and work of the Children’s Librarians. Children’slibrarians must pay more attention to the accumulation and management of knowledge in theusual practice. Especially in the management of the tacit knowledge, It determines theChildren’s librarian service capabilities and professional level, Determines whether theChildren’s library to play an active role in the children growth process. Therefore, developand use the tacit knowledge of the Children’s Library is particularly important. At present, themanagement of tacit knowledge have been introduced in the management of the Library, andobtained some achievements.This paper analyzes the basic theory of tacit knowledge management of Children’sLibrary. Raised the overall process of tacit knowledge by Children’s Library, though identify,mining, transfer, preservation tacit knowledge, analysis of the development of content andform of the tacit knowledge of the Children’s Library. Finally, put forward the reasonableconditions of the tacit knowledge utilization, though the empirical research to verify it. Thespecific contents are as follows:1) Children’s library tacit knowledge management overview. Introduce related disciplinesinvolved in the tacit knowledge of the Children’s library, Division of the tacit knowledge andthe characteristics of the Children’s library management.2) Analysis of the overall process of tacit knowledge developed by Children’s library.According to the tacit knowledge identification, excavation, transfer and saved. Themaximum guarantee the integrity of the tacit knowledge developed by the Children’s library.3) Analysis the use of the tacit knowledge of the Children’s library. Analysis the problemin the use process and the condition of achieve the rational use of the tacit knowledge.4) Empirical research of developing and using the Children’s library tacit knowledge.This paper analyzed the development and utilization of the tacit knowledge of theChildren’s library, Provide a theoretical basis for Children’s library tacit knowledgemanagement. Lay a solid foundation for Children’s library services.
