Designing And Implementation Of Library Management System On The Basis Of B/S Framework

With the social information is increasing steadily, book as one of the main media, which can save information, the quantity and the scale of the books are much more than those in past. Except of personal, the departments all need to use one convenient and usually way to manage their books. Now, more and more computers are widely used in many fields. It is more convenient if you adopt a set of valid book management system to manage the books. We design Management Information System of the Library with B/S mode according to library advanced theories and present characteristic of library trade of our country. It catered to current software to develop of current, lowered the amount of maintenance of the system and circulate cost consumedly in the meantime. Elaborating the present condition and the development trend of the current domestic and international library calculator management, this paper Analysis and compare the two kinds of main system structures(the C/S and B/S)of the information system at present, putting forward the system design method according to the library of the B/S of design project. The paper will analyze the contents of the library completely, getting the need analysis and data mode of a library management system from here, and in the end develop the library information management system in JSP.This is the typical information management system, which includes setting and maintenance, of the oracle database background and also developments of the front-end program. All this considered, the system uses JSP and servlet as the front-end development tool, oracle as the database and windows xp as the system platform to develop the management system of school libraries.There are five chapters in the paper to describe our work. In the first chapter the paper introduced the concept of the library Information-based and the background of the subject, analyzed the Information-based management, put forward the primary contents of the primary contents of the subject. In the second chapter, the paper analyzed the technology which the system needs. In the third chapter, based on above-mentioned theories and methods, the paper made the concrete function design and database design to the corresponding library information management system. In the forth chapter, the paper made realization of function, and carry on a test, at last circulated. In the fifth chapter, the paper summed up the job of the theory research and the program development above-mentioned, put forward the prospect of the next job.The system in this paper can run in windows xp, easily wielded. After tested, the system run well and achieved prospective design Objective. It provides effective software sustain for the library Information-based management.
