Sichuan Province By Dangerous Chemical Library Information Management System Design And Implementation

With the deepening of information technology, information technology hasbecome an important indicator for measuring the competitiveness of modern enterprise.Weather a unit can take full advantage of computer management information andresources reflect the level of management and competitiveness. Library management isan important part of the management in enterprises and institutions. With the deepeningof social and economic development and increasing demands for knowledge, manyenterprises have established their own libraries. However, facing the growing books andreaders in libraries, the traditional library management is meeting enormous difficulties.To help librarians get rid of the heavy work, this paper analyzes the library’s owncharacteristics, and strives to design the library management information system forhazardous Sichuan Province library.This paper, based on management information systems and related software designtheory, synthesizing the study experience of library management systems in and abroad,library management information system in Sichuan Province hazardous chemicalsinstitute for the study, makes full analysis to the status of the system and conducts afeasibility analysis. It also studies the library management system applicationrequirements, designs the system’s database structure, and listing related interface andexplanation of management system’s functions according to refining the systemrequirements and design.After nearly six months’ design and testing, the basic functions of the system havebeen fully realized. The goals of the operation of the system are achieved, which helplibrarians gradually get rid of the heavy work to improve the efficiency of librarymanagement.
