RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) technology is a kind of non-contact automatic identification technology that uses electromagnetic field or electric wave as communications media (hereinafter known as RFID technology). Combining RFID technology with computer technology, network technology and communications technology can achieve global article tracking and information sharing. The application of RFID in manufacturing, logistics, public information services and other industries can significantly improve efficiency and reduce costs. As automobiles find their way into every family, the fast development of automobile manufacturing factory sets higher requirements for the management level of automobile inbound logistics. Only if enterprises introduce appropriate logistics technology and equipment and strengthen information construction can they adapt to such requirements and establish themselves in an invulnerable in the competition. Therefore, the study of automobile inbound logistics system based on RFID technology plays an extremely important role in raising the management level of automobile inbound logistics and improving existing logistics equipments and information technology status of enterprises.This paper firstly analyses the relational theory of automobile inbound logistics system. The analysis of inbound logistics includes the mode the production and the features of corresponding inbound logistics, the mode of inbound logistics and the modes of transportation of inbound logistics. Then gives a brief introduction of the application status of RFID technology, and explores the application of RFID in the operation segments of automobile inbound logistics, and makes a comparison between RFID technology and bar code technology. Then analyses the functional requirements of the automobile inbound logistics system based on RFID, and the application conditions of RFID in automobile inbound logistics, that is the main problems of the application of RFID that need to be resolved. On this basis, this paper elaborates the principle of automobile inbound logistics information system based on RFID, then analyses the overall framework and software architecture of system, combining with the unique advantages of RFID technology in data collection, data transfer and other aspect. At the same time describes the key technologies used in system.Finally the paper takes the establishment of inbound logistics information system of W automobile logistics company in Wuhan as an example, and analyzes the existing business processes of W company, and points out the problems, and analyzes and designs each functional module of automobile inbound logistics information system which adopts RFID technology as the information transmission carrier. As the development China's economic and the reduction of the cost of RFID, the application of the automobile inbound logistics management information system based on RFID technology will promote the rapid development of China's automotive logistics.
