The manufacture mode of outsource parts assembling is widely used in automobile making companies. Thousands of parts of a assembly or a whole automobile come from different suppliers from all over the world, so that it's difficult to plan as a whole, and even the factors which can affect the variable costs are plentiful. To solve these problems, professional Inbound Logistics information systems are necessary to manage the incoming parts. Traditional logistics information systems usually deal with the global management process of the companies with coarse-grained; however, they can not provide fully control to the operation process among the functions of the organizations. The workflow technology aims to provide professional management of business process and control. This thesis designs a workflow technology based Inbound Logistics information system according to the real needs analysis of business of the SGMW to management the incoming parts of automobile. The system provides more support to the recombination of company business processes, and elaborate management and control are presented to the business processes. So that the operating cost can be reduced and the working fund occupy rate can be cut down, and the competitiveness of the company can be improved.The relevant knowledge of Inbound Logistics and the key technology of system application are introduced in detail. And the key processes are analyzed in detail, such as the present situation of the company, the environment of the system, the pull business processes, the normal receiving and shipping process and the management of work bin and rack. And then the function models of each business process are achieved. Non-functional requirements are analyzed, and based on that the overall architecture design, the develop architecture design, the working architecture design, the security architecture design, the functional architecture design and the data architecture design of the system is presented. The workflow engine applied in the system is designed and integrated in the end of the thesis, and the implementation of the workflow technology combined to the specific business processes is given. Rights management, the implementation of EDI technology and the real application of rules in putting strategy are given in the end of this thesis.The test run of the application in the real environment proves that the workflow technology can meet the needs of the cooperation among the company processes, and it can deal with the recombination of company business processes flexibly. And the results prove that the application of the rules can deal with the changes of business processes in management policies flexibly.
