The Design And Implementation Of Remote Data Monitoring Based On ZigBee Wireless Sensor Network

WSN(Wireless Sensor Network) is a new intelligent control and monitoring Network combining sensor technology with computer and communication technology, it has become a hot spot in the field of wireless communication. WSN has many features such as data-origented,self-organizing,fast-deployed and so on. It is very suitable for applicatons in some special occasion.the ZigBee technology is a new wireless communication technology on network organizing,security and software application.it is based on the IEEE 802.15.4 wireless standard.as a short distance, low complexity, low power,low-speed, low-cost technology, it's appearance has provided a big chance for the wireless sensor network's development.This paper mainly descriped how to use ZigBee technology to build a wireless sensor network, then used the ZigBee wireless sensor network to realize remote data monitoring. firstly, the paper analyzed the wireless sensor network's architecture, and made a detailed introduction to the ZigBee technology's network principle. Then, the paper described the advantages of ZigBee technology, that's why the paper adopted ZigBee technology as the transmission vector of the wireless sensor network technology. after knowing this basic idea, the paper analyzed the structure of ZigBee wireless sensor networks, including network node types and network topology structure, and made a detailed study on the principle of ZigBee networking technology.The paper used the JN5121 wireless communication module with the related software and hardware development package which is purchased from JENNICE Corporation, designed the entire network flow, compiled the corresponding code, realized the orgnizing and testing of ZigBee wireless network. Finally, as to illustrate the application prospect of the ZigBee wireless sensor network, this paper presents the application of specific examples. the paper designed a remote data monitoring system by using the wireless sensor network build before, realized a remote data acquisition and transmission. The Sensor node could collect temperature, humidity and voltage data by using the sensor module integrated on the node, then the Sensor node transmited these data to the coordinator through the ZigBee network, the coordinator node was responsible for collecting the data over the network,and then transmited the data to the host machine via the serial port, or through the GPRS network and internet, realized the remote transmission of data. The paper also used VC language and ACESS database technology, developed a simple data management center software, the data management center could complete data analysis and storage after receiving the data sent over the sensor network. The paper perfectly conbined ZigBee technology, twireless sensor network technology and data monitoring technology,realized the design of remote data monitoring system.
