With the overall development of the national economy's information construction, the general size of the communication network has already enjoyed the front ranks all over the world. So protecting the communications room's stability and normal work is particularly important. If the devices are out of work, the problems caused by them may not be understood technically and may not be eliminated which will lead to the communication interruption of the local area and data transmission failures, etc. when some serious accident happens, it will causes damages to communication equipments in the engine room and long-time paralysis of the on-site communication equipments which lead to disastrous consequences. Therefore, how to grasp the environment and operation conditions of the engine room timely, accurately and safely has been an important part as well as the research objectives of the communication room'management.This paper analyzes the development and application of domestic and international monitoring system in communication room, as well as some shortage existing in communications equipment monitoring system. However ZigBee is a wireless network technology of low complexity, low data transfer rate, low cost, short, and strong anti-interference ability. It's specially suitable for monitoring control of industrial environment. Therefore, this article puts forward that ZigBee wireless technology could be introduced into the telecom room in monitoring control scheme,Its characters is convenient main maintenance ,scalability,low cost,and strong anti-jamming and networking capability.This paper mainly includes the following aspects:(1) According to the analysis of working environment in communication computerrooms. the analysis and comparison of the star topology, tree topolgy, mesh topology network. we use tree topology network structure to apply to the communication room;and then follow the characteristics of the tree topology network, the coordinator node, the routing node, the terminal temperature acquisition and control these three nodes of the communications room temperature monitoring system the overall framework.(2) This paper adopted JN5121ZigBee chip by the Jennic company, the chip eliminate the RF circuit design which speeds hardware circuit design. Then according to the actual size of Communication room choose the ceramic antenna,and according to the coordinator node,the router nodes, terminal temperature acquisition and control nodes in the different nodes of these functional requirements,design a different perioheral hardware.(3) In this paper key concepts of ZigBee communication protocol and ZigBee protocol stack of the physical layer, the MAC layer, network layer, physical layer are simply introduced, and then completed the application design of the coordinator node, router node, terminal temperature acquisition and control nodes Coordinator node start the network,receive the transmitted to the temperature and humidity ,and humidity data will be uploaded to the host computer and other functions;Router nodes join the network,forward the data of temperature and humidity and other functions;Terminal temperature acquisition and control nodes join the network,temperature and humidity data acquisition and control equipment installed in the cooling of the air-conditioning pipe outlet of the soleniod valves and other functions.(4) Using the LabVIEW software I compiled the serial driver program, dynamic waveform real-time display and SQL Server2003 access to database program.It realizes real-time display real-time observation of the temperature alarm, solenoid valve control state and waveform and the function that the collected data could be saved to the database.Compared with the existing monitoring system, the wireless communication system which is constructed based on ZigBee has the merits of easy maintenance, good scalability and low cost. Therefore, it provides a new method to the monitoring system of the communication room.
