With the development of modern network technology. The information age has changedthe mode of development of each industry. In modern society, the demand for information hasbecome more and more. Especially information acquisition of large range remote regionbecomes more and more important. A three layer network architecture is constructed in thispaper realizes the remote and large range data collection and transmission. This provides a setof feasible solution.This system is a data acquisition system designed for wetland monitoring. The range andcomplex terrain is more difficult to monitor in the wetland, this system mainly solves theseproblems. The Zigbee network wide coverage of the wetland area,and The Zigbee node witha variety of sensors are used to collect information. The information collected by Zigbeenodes transmits through the Zigbee network to the gateway. Gateway is composed ofMSP430, CC2530and GPRS module.CC2530as the coordinator receives the the data inZigbee network, MSP430as the entral processing chip collects and processes data,and thentransmits the data to the GPRS module. The GPRS module connects with the Internet throughGPRS network and transmists data to the database of the website. Remote monitoring site isdesigned based on VS2005platform.It is designed with two models: C/S and B/S model.Theinterface is designed with B/S model and the background software is designed with C/Smodel whitch is used communication with GPRS by socket. The database is design by theSQL Server2005platform. The website uses the ADO.NET technology to connect thedatabase, and realizes the data display, query, access and modify.The remote monitoring system of Zigbee basically realize data acquisition andtransmission to the remote wetland.Three layer network make the data collection in a widerange and make the data transmission remoter and data query at any time. It forms thenetwork development trend in the future. Experiments show that: the system works normally,data transmission and packet loss rate in a proper range, the site is running well,and achievethe expected goal.
