Professional audio is transmitted in the way of analog traditionally. in analog audio systems, audio signal is in accordance with a dedicated path. Each audio track is connected with an audio cable, the audio equipment is often connected through matrix switching, distributed amplifiers and patch panels. It also requires additional hardware devices and cables to manage and monitor audio content as well as to control system equipment, which is a complex and time-consuming process. The popularization of network technology provides a solution to this difficulty. Ethernet is the most widely used technology for device interconnecting currently. Ethernet is easy to manage and monitor, also has powerful data transmission capacity.it has gradually become the main way of audio transmission.The thesis developes the HIFI network audio transmission system by using Ethernet technology and programmable device technology. The system used Ethernet to transmits digital audio data which solving the vulnerable interference problems in traditional analog audio transmission process. while the system provides easy installation, monitoring and easy to reconfigure and so on. Has broad application prospects.The thesis is divided into the following seven chapters:Chapter one deals with the background of the subject, introduces domestic and foreign professional audio transmission technology Research and development direction, and raised an issue of the main tasks.Chapter two is in accordance with the main technical requirements, completes the overall design of the audio transmission system. and customizes the structure of child nodes in audio transmission system.Chapter three designs the schematic of every module in audio transmission system, Including data processing core board, back board and the daughter boards.Chapter four completes the system PCB design and simulation, including high-speed PCB design and PCB design of mixed modulus. based on the design of schematic.Chapter five customizes FPGA architecture and introduces the design of each module in FPGA.Chapter six tests each module of audio transmission, including test of Ethernet MAC and test of every daughter board and whole system.Chapter seven gives the detailed summary in developing high-fidelity audio transmission system,and carries out the propose for future research and prospects.
