Thus, the public blame economists and the media for their moral failure and lack of self-discipline. But this study suggests that under the current system, it is inefficient to solve the moral issue.In fact, China is now in the cutting period of financial crisis and the deepening of reform, many economic problems exposed for the first time and led to strong reflection in economic circles and the media, It creates a multidimensional ideological collision situation, and contributes to the development of the economic public sphere, some economists as public intellectuals still have good performance, network media in this process played an important role. This paper reviews the growth path of economic public intellectuals, concludes the drawbacks of both intellectuals and the media. But the paper points out that even if there are drawbacks, the growth of economic public intellectuals is still active and the economic public sphere is prosperity. The paper discusses the deep-seated reasons, and indicates that the network media, especially the personal blog will be the best platform for economists intellectuals to get rid of the media-controlled existence and to achieve the ideal.
