Public sphere is an interdisciplinary significance theory from theGerman sociologist Habermas.Thistheory had proposed more than60years,but the study about Public sphere in China just a decade, and generallyconcentrated in philosophy、 sociology、 economics and other fields.Related research in the field of Journalism and Communication is to theseyears.This paper draws on Habermas constructed to explain the theoreticalframework of the theory of the public sphere, combined with the historicalbackground of the current social transformation in the market-national-social horizons, Nddaily Public Forum for the study profiling itsfive-year course of development and internal variety of factors, on thecombing the basis of the theory combined case analysis, morecomprehensive and deeper to reveal the media public sphere of the buildingprocess and its impact.This paper the overall use of the case study method, specific NddailyPublic Forum studies major field observations and in-depth interviewsin qualitative field research method, an appropriate combination of textanalysis. The specific process of collecting material, as participantand researcher into the " field " to collect and collate the first-handmaterial, and has laid a solid foundation for later analysis of thisarticle.In the context of social transition with Chinese characteristics, thethree basic demands of the government, the media, the public has becomethe motivation of the Media Public Sphere construct. During the processof Construction of the Media Public Sphere, the media, intellectuals,public three main around public topic exchanges such exchanges behaviormakes the media function of deeper, get more accurate positioning of the role of intellectuals, the public the rational demands had been met,and eventually join forces to promote the building of a democraticsociety.
