By combining different tactical radio subnets with interconnected technique, the tactical internet enables networks with different frequencies and schemes to exchange information seamlessly. The routing protocol of wireless ad hoc network multi-subnet interconnected technology will have a direct influence on the integral performance of tactical internet. This paper, firstly, analyses and compares the existing wireless ad hoc network routing protocols. Secondly, according to the characteristics of ad hoc network and the further demands of ad hoc network in battlefield environment, we adopt the ZRP protocol as the core routing protocol of wireless ad hoc network multi-subnet interconnected technology. Thirdly, based on in-depth analysis of the ZRP protocol, detailed analysis and design of the wireless ad hoc network multi-subnet interconnected system was carried out by using progressive refinement of analytical methods, modular design concept and SDL protocol description language. Finally, we implement the whole system on the hardware platform that appropriate to the system, and then build two hardware testing environments: single-subnet and multi-subnet. Through a detailed analysis of test results, the availability of the wireless ad hoc network multi-subnet interconnected technology was proved. |
