The mobile Internet is growing rapidly. It not only brought us convenient services, but also made new challenge to today’s mobile Internet access technology, especially for application scenarios of mobile subnet in public transport such as car, train, etc. The existing mobile Internet access technology is facing so many problems such as poor continuity and low bandwidth. It cannot meet the needs of users. This paper relied on the National Science and Technology Support Program, studied and proposed the NEMO-enabled Proxy Mobile IPv6(N-PMIPv6) multi-interfaces access scheme, which can provide mobile Internet access service with higher continuity and bandwidth for mobile subnet users through the integration of multiple wireless access network resources. This paper reviewed the research status of multi-interfaces access technologies of mobile subnet, analyzed the advantages and disadvantages of the prior art, introduced the principle of PMIPv6, NEMO, N-PMIPv6and multi-homing technology. Based on these, this paper proposed the N-PMIPv6multi-interfaces access scheme. This scheme achieved the multi-interfaces access method of the mobile router in N-PMIPv6, the mobile router could select an interface for the mobile node in accordance with the status of each interface, and then perform the related PMIPv6binding registration process with the interface selected:this scheme achieved the multi-interfaces handover method of the mobile router, the mobile router could change the interface used by the data flow according to the state of each interface thus avoids the deterioration caused by the state interrupted of the interface, improves communication continuous of the mobile node; this scheme achieved the multi-interfaces parallel transmission method, the mobile router could distribute the data packets to each interface in connections, thereby increases the overall available bandwidth of the mobile router. This paper divided the scheme into two modules that is multi-interfaces access module and multi-paths parallel transmission module, and designed each module in detail. This paper implemented the scheme based on Linux system. Finally, this paper set up a test platform for the implement of the scheme and carried out functional and performance testing. The test results show that the proposed scheme can improve communication continuity and overall available bandwidth of the mobile subnets.
