Harsh industrial environment of the ISA 100.11a network will lead to the data packet loss, miscommunication and uncertain delay, which can result in disastrous consequences. The routing technology of ISA 100.11a DL subnet takes important role in network management, data transmission, and so on. Based on the deeply analyzing ISA100.11a standard and DL subnet characteristics, this paper focus to solve the routing algorithm for ISA100.11a DL subnet. The main content of this paper includes:1) Analyed the ISA100.11a network architecture, network topology, network equipment, and the characteristics of ISA100.11a network, presented the main functions of DL layer and the DL subnet routing technology, to design routing algorithms.2) Analysised the structure of the ISA100.11a protocol stack and data services of the ISA100.11a DL layer. Designed and implemented ISA100.11a DL subnet routing mechanism and retransmission mechanism in the protocol stack state machine dllFSM(), which can improve the determinacy of network.3) Combined the centralized management mechanism and network features of the ISA100.11aDL subnet, a routing algorithm was proposed, which based on the deterministic scheduling and channel quality in the DL subnet, and algorithm was tested and comparied by simulating.4) The function of the DL subnet routing and the data retransmission designed in this paper were tested in the test platform. And the performance of routing algorithm proposed in this paper was validated as well.
