With the edge of the variable rate and frequency of shaking becoming faster and faster, high-speed signal has become more and more important in the modern digital television systems. And how to solve SI and Timing problems has become a key point of the whole design. Now in this paper we just study the development of signal integrity (SI) and timing control with the digital television receiver solution. The following is a chapter of introduction of this article.Firstly, the digital television profile is presented according to the development of SI and Timing. And then we introduce an overview of the main digital TV receiver chip Trident Qx, including the basic framework, functions and the MI with the DDR2.In chapter 3, the critical timing of television is deeply researched, including timing initialization, read and write timing control, timing analysis for synchronous clock. Sequentially the HDMI solution of signal integrity is given. This paper analyzes the transmission line effect and differential impedance control. Then we give out the test result. Finally the solutions are made by simulation analysis and summarized briefly. Timing and signal integrity are not isolated. They are interrelated and mutually affected. So the resolved with the SI and timing will expand the trident Qx development. The solution will have high performance and stability, as well as to meet the stringent standards of electronic products. It is also better for the promotion of product itself.
