With the development of the concept of the integration of plant control, the integrated monitoring system is the trand of the automation plant, but many small systems or equipment itself is complete, the same time, because of the different manufacturers and the time they were constructed is so long ago, the communication interface these systems and equipments can provide are very deferent, these problems have become difficulties in the design and implementation of the integrated monitoring system. Plants need to monitor and manage these equipments now.Responsible for the conceptual design and implementation of integrated monitoring system of automation equipments in a naval base. SIMATIC S7-200/300 PLC and WinCC were used in the project. The communication mode that used in the project included PROFIBUS-DP, S7, OPC, UDP, and MODBUS ASCII, etc. There were about 3000 I/O points in the whole system which also had two 10kV/35kV substation monitoring subsystem. WinCC C/S, B/S structures were employed in the system. The functions that implemented included the on-site information acquisition of automation equipments, central management, and remote scheduling.As the project designer and responsible for the implementation on site to complete the structural design of the whole system, PLC products selection and installation, software programming and debugging, entry project acceptance and system maintenance. The system is stable since been put into operation.
