A Design Of Remote Security Monitoring System Based On GPRS

With the development of the economy, consciousness of fire prevention rises. And the high standard of the remote monitored scene is put forward. An effective solution of monitor points distributing big-rang, long distance, too many points difficult and send the information to user in time is the point of design a remote monitoring system.Currently existing security monitoring system focus the function of security, has the following disadvantages, such as: poor in fireproof and can not form an effective alarm linkage, we analyzed current home and abroad intelligent home and remote video monitoring system, we put forward a new remote security monitoring system based on the GPRS. The system using the characteristic of GPRS network covering a wide range of transmission and low-power embedded, utilizes ARM Linux and MC35i as the GPRS communication module, implements remote control by accessing GPRS network, taking pictures against the remote object, and transmitting the MMS.The system hardware of the system is mainly used ARM920T S3C2410 chip as a system processor, system detect information through temperature, smog and infrared sensor, comparison with the recent data, send out an image collecting order. Finally, by wireless data transmission network send the text and image data using GPRS to the cell phone of user. And the system use the monitored of trigger mode, which reduce the workload and running costs greatly, and reduce the capacity of data transmission network, which raise the feasibility of GPRS. System software aspect consists of the ARM BootLoader and analysis and transplanting of embedded Linux, realize the modules, sent warning SMS to the user though GPRS module.Experiments show that this system retaliate the function of remote monitoring. It is very compact and easy to use, furthermore, its cost is relatively low, so it is has the good application prospect.
