Frame is the important supporting part of the bogie which can be equipped with other components. Its reliability impacts directly on the performance, operation quality and safety of the locomotives and rolling stocks. During the production and the assembly process of the bogie frame, whether we can keep the temperature in point or not will have a direct influence on the quality of the bogie, so temperature control is the key technology in the aging Resistance Furnace System of the whole Framework (abbr. RFSF) .This paper started with the executing agency and the production process flow requirements of the original RFSF, and analyzed its main control targets and then took the resistance furnace temperature as the object to be controlled. By researching on the structure and the principle of RFSF, the paper mainly analyzed the changes of process parameters such as temperature when the original RFSF eliminates or reduces the stress during welding, and established a heat transfer model. Based on the analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of the fuzzy control and traditional PID algorithm, by researching a fuzzy - PID control theory using in the process control system of the resistance furnace and discussing the feasibility of the control strategy, the author designed a set of intelligent temperature control system based on fuzzy self-tuning PID, and had given a specific control algorithm and a detailed process.On the basis of the theoretical research, the author has completed the engineering design of the entire system, and developed a set of control system with high precision and high reliability. The author has also set the value of all PID algorithm parameters, and at last obtained a satisfied result with the rules table of the fuzzy control.
