As heating equipment, resistance furnace is commonly used in industry, the temperaturecontrol results of resistance furnace will directly affect the heating efficiency and the productquality. In industrial temperature control process, resistance furnace has the characteristics ofnon-linear, time-delay, time-varying, and it is very difficult to establish accurate mathematicalmodel of this plant.For resistance furnace temperature control system, the conventional PID controller cannotpromise precise control, and the traditional immune algorithm can’t take full advantage offeedback information, leads to less accurate optimization results. After the thorough study aboutthe working mechanism of variable arguments PID and Artificial Immune Algorithm, this paper,by analyzing the property of resistance furnace, proposes an improved Artificial ImmuneAlgorithm with the elitism reservation and elitism crossover strategy(AIAE). The simulationresults show that the variable arguments PID controller based on AIAE has the advantages ofhigher precision, stronger stability and greater robustness.At the same time, Traditional immune algorithm has slow convergence speed in small scope,and the manual experience values of immune oprator directly affect the optimizationperformance, and many experimental results of the proposed AIAE algorithm show that thisalgorithm is still has a slightly overshoot. This paper proposes an immune algorithm based on thecharacteristics of fuzzy system and chaos theory, and the simulation results show goodperformance.In order to meet the requirements of high performance in industrial control, this subjectdesign a set of setting PID parameters temperature system controller based on ATmega16microcontroller, and the results of experiment show that this method is effective and feasible,and the desired goal has been achieved.
