Resistance furnace is applied extensively in industry production. The control result of temperature control system will directly affect quality of products and efficiency of production so the exact precision is demanded. At present conventional PID control method is used usually by most domestic resistance furnace in industries. The temperature control for resistance furnace has many characteristics such as non-linearity, big inertia, great lag. It is difficult to establish its accurate mathematic model so we can't obtain the satisfied result using the conventional PID control method. Therefore, it is very valuable to design the temperature control system which has exact precision and steady operation.In the thesis, the temperature control system with exact precision is designed. This system that the object is resistance furnace applies AT89C55 as the center unit and fuzzy control method. Not any the design of hardware and software but also fuzzy control method is expatiated particularly in the thesis.The chip MAX6675 is applied in the temperature measure circuit in the system. It simplifies the design of hardware and software and improves precision of control system. The output program is brief because the output control is carried out mainly by output circuit. The design of anti-jamming is adopted in hardware circuit .It makes the system have higher anti-jamming. The design of software in this system adopts module structure. It makes the program have portability and this system have stronger interoperability. The fuzzy control method which need not depend on mathematic model of resistance furnace is adopted in this system. The control result is better than conventional PID.A lot of experiments have been made using conventional PID control method or this system. The results of control have been compared and analyzed. These experiments indicate that this system has better control result and more advantages such as higher precision and anti-jamming, more stable .Through these experiments the result that this system is effective and value is obtained.
