Currently, the research of the electric vehicle power battery is carried out in a lot of countries. Because of the restriction factors such as cost, battery capacity, the electric vehicle power battery is not suitable to apply in the industrialization. With the continuous improvement of battery performance, the development of the electric vehicles will be more and more promising. Therefore, the testing technology of the electric vehicle battery is advancing to ever-higher levels.In order to meet the needs of the measurement and assessment of the vehicle power battery, a set of HEV(Hybrid-Electric Vehicle)power battery integrated test platforms based on virtual instrument technology are developed. The engineering simulation principle technology as technology route is selected in the paper and the simulation of actual working conditions for electric vehicles make the test platform load height similar to the actual operation of electric vehicle.In the design of the system, the vibration platform is used to simulate the vibration of electric vehicles on run-time, and the temperature control system is also used to simulate surrounding environment temperature of the vehicle power battery. Based on the different vibration impact and the different temperature environments, the data acquisition system is designed to measure the voltage, loop current, inner impedance and the battery temperature data, etc. The PC software is designed with the LabVIEW.The hardware and software of the data acquisition system is designed in the paper. The DSP host controller, voltage measurement module, inner impedance measurement module, loop current measurement module, temperature measurement module, upper-end and lower-end computer communication module are implemented in the hardware design; The lower-end computer data acquisition procedures, upper-end and lower-end computer data communications procedures, upper-end computer integrated control, data analysis, processing are implemented in the software design. Based on the electric vehicles platform simulated the actual operating, the online detection and the assessment of the HEV power battery parameters are accomplished, such as voltage, current, capacity, inner impedance, battery temperature, etc. Based on the upper-end computer synthesized control and the analysis software with the LabVIEW, the data measurement, performance analysis and the forecast for power battery are implemented.Using the vibration platform and the temperature control system, the actual working conditions of the electric vehicles is simulated and the power battery in the test platform is measured on-line. The debug results of the HEV power battery data acquisition system with the LabVIEW are got, which reflect the real situation of the actual run-time.
