Today, with the development of science and technology, the requirement on measurement technology is getting more and more important. The application of electronic measurement technology has extended to more fields than before. Due to limited functions and big size, traditional electronic measuring equipments are no longer suitable to common purposes. The rapid development of integrated circuit and computer technology gives birth to a new kind of instrument, Virtual Instrument (VI). Compared with traditional equipment, VI characterizes with more functions, higher processing speed, wider bandwidth, friendlier interface, small size and better expandability. It is based on PC platform, which make it convenient to use the software and hardware resources of PC and get the ability of data processing flexible. With VI, a measure system can be easily builded for different requirements.The author of the paper design an data acquisition system based on computer. The system includes design of A/D hardware, Parallel Port Communication, PC platform's software and so on .The key part of the system is hardware part design. In hardware designing ,the core component of the data acquisition system is AT89C52 Single Chip Micro-computer of ATMELL Company. 82C55 is used for the parallel chip,and the core component of A/D transition is ADC0809 CMOS chip. In the part of analog circuit designing,the paper designed and developed amplifier and filter circuit. Software programming based on LabVIEW of the NI company is also present in the thesis.these include the developmet of the parallel communication between PC and single chip microcomputer and the part of the data condition and analysis and so on. Same time ,the effective anti-jamming measures in the design of software and hardware is harnessed at the same time.Meanwhile, this paper t introduces a hardware designing method of high speed parallel communication between PC and single chip microcomputer system, and howto conduce shakehand signals. The paper discussed the system scheme design^ PCB design > system debugging > experiment results from the system whole design.
