The popular science education is very important in the process of society develop and improving knowledge level of people. The Virtual Reality technology is one new subject. Now it is widely used in military, digital entertainment, making machine, medicine, education and so on. But it's rare to find its application in popular science education. It's one interesting and useful subject that how to find the joint point of VR and popular science education.The VR technology has many advantages, such as strong illusion of immersion, good interaction. It makes people more easily enjoy the virtual environment and get more knowledge. Based on the VR software about manual switching in Shanxi Mobile Popular Science Hall, this paper describe the process and tools of how to construct one VR system. The result shows the advantage of VR technology and its practicality.First, this paper describes current situation, including the characters and situation of VR technology, the importance and situation of popular science of popular science education. Second, this paper describes the theory foundation of the application of VR in popular science of education. Third, based on the VR software about manual switching, this paper gives the detail steps of design and construct of VR system. This is the kernel of this paper. Finally, this paper describes the result, introduces the current problem, and look forwards to develop in the future. |
