Research And Implementation Of Mobile Value-Added Data Service Management System

Along with deceleration of customer increasing and homogenization of voice services provided by different operators, mobile telecom operators divert their attention to value-added data services. In terms of data services operation, there are two preeminent features: (1) Opened Value Chain Operation Architecture - Value-added data services are provider by the cooperative companies through the whole value chain, rather then by the operator itself. (2) Convergence of Different Type of Services - Against the background of operation notion transforming from "Service Oriented" to "Customer Oriented", different types of service gradually converge in ordring, billing and other aspects of operation.As the two characteristics above, existing BSS designed for voice service are no longer competent for data services operation, which galvanize the operators into building a new specialized support system for data services. This dissertation addresses itself to the topic of how to design a support system suitable for data services operation.This dissertation includes a summary of the methodologies and models, which are widely adopted by operators in the world. These theory tools are applied to the operation process analysis and support system planning in this dissertation.Through research of the telecom network, referring to the prevailing idea of telecom business network construction, dissertation advances the layer architecture of business network and predicates the network development trend.This dissertation introduces the DSMP specification, confirms the core status of DSMP in business network, and analyzes its utilities in complementation of value chain system and promotion the business convergence.As the industrial practice part of dissertation, a practical mobile business management system for data service is elaborated on. The description is all-around covering requirements analysis, architecture design, coding and running analysis. Application of this system embodies social and economic values of this dissertation's subject.
