The Research And Realizes Of Automobile Post-sale Service System Based On The Smart Client

With the rapid development of the Internet, the application based on B/S architecture is widely applied. But with the application requirements continuous expanding, complication and the diversification of terminal equipment, customers' requirements for application are more and more higher. The traditional Web applications have couldn't keep up with the pace of The Times. Therefore, Microsoft proposed Smart Client in 2004 for the specific requirements. Smart Client represents a new kind of development mode. It combines the rich user interface characteristics of C/S applications and the easy deployment and management of B/S application, and is suitable for occasionally connection users.First, this thesis presents the background system of this study, analyses some problems and deficiencies of the background system in user process and puts forward the idea of the Smart Client and the system structure design based on the Smart Client. Secondly we analyses the distribution of data in Smart Client, precisely the problem such as the data type in the client cache and how to cache.Finally a complete Smart Client design example is given. This case is an auto after-sales service management system. Through the realization of the Smart Client, the server throughout the country can work based on occasionally connection under the condition of network connection. In the design, we focus on the data access switch seamlessly of the Smart Client based on occasionally connection situations, the design of background thread automatic synchronization between the client and the server data processing, the business logic and data access based on Web Services as intermediation and the design in intelligent deployment and update using ClickOnce technology which provides a better installation and renewal experience.
