Based On Smart Client Warehouse Management System Design And Realization

With the development of network Applications software architecture has also experienced from fat-client to thin-client. These two architectures have their advantages as well as insufficient. Especially in certain special filed, these two architectures can't meet the new requirement, more and more enterprises and users require a software with complete functions and ability of online or offline. So Smart Client came into being.In this paper, Web Service and Smart Client technology are used to build a warehouse management system. The entire process of warehouse management system is described on details in this paper. The system includes six functional modules: storage management module, a database management module, in the database management module, the processing management module, billing module, and basic data management module. Back-end database is analyzed and designed. Warehouse Management Information database is established.The enterprise warehouse management system has been tested that both data and interface meet users' requirements, and has been officially put into use and work well. The creation of this system greatly enhanced the storage of goods, as well as the inventory of goods within a certain period of time and the number and types of statistical efficiency, timely to provide an important supplier of information, can be widely used in the management of network storage systems, for timely information on inventory information, orders and shipments to ensure smooth flow, with high practical value and better scalability.
