| Ship assembly takes an important position in shipbuilding process, and it is an importantfactor to determine the shipbuilding cycle. In traditional shipbuilding node, the first-line workersassembly ship according to the two-dimensional drawings from ship designers, the workers oftentake mistakes because the two-dimensional drawings are too complex, which will result a wasteof human and material resources; at the same time, the communications between the ship ownerand the designers will not go smoothly without special model objects for the abstract drawings.So, a technical that integrate virtual reality technology and ship assembly crafts can solve theproblem above, which can show the hull and ship assembly process with three-dimensionalmodels.In this paper, the study object is a segment of a ship cabin, the research methods is theintegration of virtual assembly technology and simulation technology, modeling the3D model ofequipments in the segment of a ship cabin in sb3ds,3smax modeling software and design theirassembly animation, set the assembly animation in VRP simulation platform, dominate theassembly process in visual studio c#. The main tasks of the subject are as follows:Firstly, analysis the shipbuilding industry status quo in home and aboard and study thedigital shipbuilding technology, put forward the necessity of the virtual assembly technology’sapplication in shipbuilding industry, design technology lines and implementation process of thevirtual assembly process.Secondly, set a segment of a ship cabin as study object, modeling the components’ model insb3ds and3dsmax, render and map the models to make them realistic and set their assemblyanimation, then further optimize the models by lighting and texturing in Vrp-building, programthe assembly animation in script editor.Call the program from the script editor of vrp-building in visual studio c#through vrp-sdkto control the assembly process.Ship virtual assembly technology can help engineer find the shortcomings and deficienciesin design, avoiding the waste od manpower and material resources in actual assembly process;optimize assembly craft by compare assembly processes in virtual environment; it is easier forfirst-line workers to learn how to construct by watching ship virtual assembly in3D mode, whichwill improve shipbuilding efficiency an shorten the shipbuilding cycle. |
