With the development of the network hardware and software, the SDH MSAP equipment is more widely used in many fields. From the later part of the 20th century on, the SDH(Synchronous Digital Hierarchy) and the TMN (Telecommunication Management Network) have become two focused areas. So far, ITU-T is adapting the new situations, and updating the protocols, so that the Accessing Network is able to develop rapidly. With the more and more complex Accessing Network environment, the demands of the users are becoming more various. In the field of Accessing Lay equipment, many manufactories try their best to enhance their competition abilities, in order to take their own places in the market. Because of the actualization of the growing-up market, for meeting the requirement of customers, Beijing Zhengyou Telecommunication Technology Corporation improves the hardware and the software of the products, as well as the framework of the facilities. In this way, the equipment can support higher performances without changing so much to the original hardware.This paper is finished in during my exercitation in Zhengyou Corporation. In this period, I participated in the R&D of the ZY-MSAP155II-C, including the MCU and Tu-cards. The project is based on the MPC8247. The optical modules use the DTT1C20A two-channel STM-1-VC4 frame, processor of Datang Corporation. The software module is based on the VxWorks RTOS. The whole framework is driven by the CLI, and supports two ways for remote communicating -the Telnet and RS232.The background and the preparations are introduced at the beginning of this paper. After that, the related technologies are presented; such as the development of the MPC8247, SDH, and DTT1C20A chip. Then, in this paper, I will talk about the hardware platform of the MPC8247 primarily. The structure of the software and the key functions of the platform of the embedded development are showed after. The drivers of the DTT1C20A and the design of the CLI module are also mentioned. When all the items.in the project are finished, the testing segmentation will start. In the conclusion, the paper will summarize the process of the project, and also view the future of this product.
