Multi-service transport platform (MSTP), being the current main communication network platform of the operators, has been unable to meet the needs of large customers access development. Multi-service access platform (MSAP) can provide reliable and high quality communication services for large customers. It can not only improve the maintenance efficiency, reduce the cost of network construction, but also meet the business needs of different customers, achieve fine management of the network.Therefore, this thesis further studies how the MSAP platform solves the above problem. This thesis expounds the main technology of the current transmission access network system and analyzes the application of the MSAP platfonn in the transmission network access layer through typical application cases combined with its functional characteristics. The main works are as follows:1) Analyze the development trend of the access network analysis of bearing large customer service combined with the communication transmission network layer structure and characteristics, and emphasize the inevitability of producing new technology of MSAP platform according to the characteristics of the transmission network access layer, business application mode and the existing access technologies.2) Mainly discuss the system architecture of the MSAP platform. By comparing the MSAP platform and MSTP platform, this thesis briefly introduced the thought of building integrated access network using MSAP platform technology. In order to further deepen the understanding of MSAP technology framework, the system function and access network solutions based on MSAP platform are mainly discussed.3) Elaborate the networking applications on the MSAP platform carries. Combined with the features of the MSAP platform system, this thesis briefly introduces the basic networking of transmission network, and introduces the basic exchange function of MSAP platform and Ethernet networking applications according to the customer business needs. The thesis analyzes the network project of an e-government application cases. Two reasonable networking solutions are developed based on the project needs and the technology management advantages of the MSAP platform’s metrizability, manageability and protected nature, are further validated combined with the maintenance late in the project in practical, such as network management operation, fault classification, fault processing and so on.
