With the applications of the computer and the network technology in the power systems, the information technology has negative impact on the power systems. As the data sources of power automation systems and the executor to control all of the actions, it can not be ignored to insure the network communications being security in the substation automation system. Once the real-time data were to be intercepted, tampered, or forged by any intrusion data into the communication network of the substation, all of these will result in many faults, such as the switch acts incorrectly or fail to actuate, disordering the uploaded data, or rating parameters wrongly, etc, will seriously threaten the running of power system stably and safely, what's more, will lead to a catastrophic accident. It has become a very urgent task how to effectively guarantee the power control system and the network information secure, and implement communicating secrecy and the authority certification of sponsors. At the same time, strong timeliness is required in the process of dealing real-time data in the substation automation system. As a result, it should not affect the real-time of the system when we design the project to resolve remote communication security issues of the substation. This article mainly studies message transmission security under the premise of without affecting the timelines.
