GOOSE communications work in the digital substation of the process, it is a real-time message in the Application Layer. It mainly sends real-time strongly interval atresia and tripping signal, response rapidly power system failure and abnormal working conditions, and cut off failures and reliable components. In addition, GOOSE message also includes to check the validity of the loss, inspection, re-issued mechanism to ensure that the IED receiver receive information and the implementation of the expected operation. Through the text mainly explains the real-time GOOSE transmission, GOOSE-depth study on the basis of the message transmission model, analysising the content of the standard object-oriented modeling, being specific modeling and mapping specific communications services, standards revealed in the abstract model with a specific mapping between the inherent unity of association, GOOSE on digital transmission, the physical realization provide a good theoretical basis.Secondly, analysis of the substation and logic model of IED substation architecture, summing up the three-step modeling methods and in accordance with established standards IEC61850 IED model and the functions of the various IED layered objects UML (Unified Modeling Language) models, such as server type model, logic device type model and data model type. Then we prepared the GOOSE data sets (dataset) exchange through C + + and the IED data type text of the report. We analyze and point out that the process bus communication is in a real-time message and non real-time message coexist environment, and point out that IED must have the capability of process both real-time task and non real-time task. Then we proposed a structure model that is composed of hard real-time kernel and non real-time kernel in the way of that the non real-time kernel is scheduled by the hard real-time kernel as the lowest priority task and the non real-time kernel is responsible for the non real-time tasks scheduling and management. We also analyze the advantages of this structure model. We analyze the work principle of hard real-time kernel-RTAI and its kernel module mechanism, on the base of which we design and program the network adapter chip (CS8900) driver according to IEEE 802.1q protocol and consistent with the IEC61850 standard GOOSE message application layer processing module.Finally, in order to test for the transformer differential protection, building a model of logical analysis of the various nodes. In the strong core RTAI real-time, we hold a experimental communication of process layer, as well as the design process and the preparation of a real-time code modules.
