Research And Implementation On Gateway Of Protection Devices System Based On IEC61850

Firstly,This paper summarizes the research status of IEC61850and the developmentof dynamic protection devices. It includes the application of IEC60870-5-103in theelectric power enterprise recently and the latest research progress both at home andabroad which is related to the subject. Then the author is not only analysis the hierarchyof IEC61850, functions and logical interface, but also its technology of object-orientedmodeling, logical node, logical device, the model of transformer substation andcommunication services from the perspective of theory. The mapping relationshipbetween the MMS objects and services is considered as the key research contents in thisarticle to in-depth study. It analysis the information structure of IEC60870-5-103, theamount of information and its message structure. In this paper the103statute ofcommunication process and the communication event are described in detail. The furtherfoundation for the103data into61850data has been laid by the comparison between thecommunication protocol of the IEC60870-5-103and the IEC61850.Secondly, it maked the IED model for relay protection equipment,analyzes theprocess of establishing the data model. It also used the configuration tool to generate theICD files which has been descrided in detail. At the same time, the correctness and theeffectiveness of the proposed configuration document has been proved,too.Finally, the gateway of the relay protection device which is based on IEC61850communication standard has been designed.The author made a in-depth and meticulousresearch on following contents: the hardware and software environment of the gateway,the principles of data mapping, design of the database, external protocol parsing, thecompiler of the server.The protocol conversion function of gateway is verified by the IEC61850client which is establishing by test tools IEDScout.
