The investigation of mining safety accidents suggests that ground supervisor can not get the position of underground personnel, the ambulance safety is inefficient. Therefore, the mine needs a system that can monitor the position of underground personnel to strengthen the safety management. In this dissertation, the major work completed including:(1)Presenting the Working Principle, function and features of RFID,and application of RFID at China and abroad;based on all these factors, applies RFID to Personnel Positioning System Underground Mines. To make the System be effective, the author integrated database technology an computer communication technology and RFID.(2)The author proposed a plan to locate the personnel position underground mines, and solve some key issues of it.(3)The system has following functions:Basic information management;Real-time monitoring of underground personnel;Staff attendance;Query of historical tracing; and Monitoring sites.(4)The author designed the hardware and programmed the software of the system experimented in Lenggang River Iron Mine. The system can get the dynamic information of underground personnel, and enhance the efficiency of ambulance safety and increase level of safety management. It is concluded that Personnel Positioning System Underground Mines have stable and reliable performance,user-friendly,and strong scalability. The author suggests that the solutions of this system can be promoted to other mines.
