Safety production and ensuring security of saff of colliery is an eternal theme. It is an important means to develop a new type of personnel position system for ensuring security of staff and achieving rapid rescue. Mine safety monitoring system is the pre-disaster warning system,its main target is to monitor parameters on the environment and production processes.However,this existing system cann't get position of staff,which is cause of the frequent mine disaster and the low rescuing efficiency.So,it's greatly practical and significient to constitute the perfect personnel position system.In this paper,there is study on working theory of RFID,anti-collsion stradegy and reliability application of personnel position system. Also the comparation with other auto-recognize technology,such as linecode, magcard and IC card, is executed. RFID possess some good characteristic,for example,untouched,far distance,multi-recognize tag and strong anti-diagusting working environmental. These characteristics satisfy the requirements of the colliery. Based on the RFID technology and mine environment, personnel position system underground coal mine is proposed.Aim to communication network of the personnel position system,the comparation with RS-485 bus,Ethernet,CAN-bus,Fundation Fieldbus and Profibus is carried on. Then, we conclude that CAN-bus surpass other bus in the capability,tcp, anti-jamming and cost. Act on the real-time ,reliability and small data stream, data transfer network of personnel position system,which CAN-bus constitue,is proposed.Based on these technologies, resolve methods about the RFID and CAN based personnel position system of the underground coal mine is put forward. The statement of system structure,devise structure,hardware theory and software realization is carried on. At last,monitoring node hardware, monitoring node and tag software is achived.
