Coal industry is the foundation of our country national economy and social development, which always occupies about 70% in our country's production of each energy produce and consumption structure. In the last few years, the coal mine accident occurs frequently, after the accident, we often dally over the best rescue time for lacking of necessary emergency rescue system or the faulty system, which result in expanding the accident scope, deepen damage's grade, and bring the great disaster to the enterprise. So we need to draw up the urgent measure and emergency method to reduce the loss of personnel and property caused by accident to the minimum degree.The main task is developing a stable and reliable coal mine personnel and equipment management, search and rescue system, The system can cover the entire mine by wireless signal at low cost, search and rescue people the incident rapidly and accurately. The system uses the wire and wireless mixed network with architecture of two levels distribution, so it can easily achieve a mine-wide coverage, and immediately send the information to a monitoring computer in control center, the computer can determine specific information at once, shows it on the big-screen or computer screen of control center and save data, My work is designing part of the system software.The ground segment of system using a high-speed Ethernet LAN technologies to build LAN, selecting Microsoft WTN2000/XP as operating system, the data of system using ODBC to save and access, database using SQL Server, System monitoring program using VC++, achieving various functions by modular composition, the system provides abundant graphics function (systems have function of showing workers' position ).
