With the developments of Computer Technology,Communication Technology, Control Technology and Industrial Technology,measurement and control field tends to the development of Digital signal,control-intelligent,and communication network open system.Fieldbus and virtual instrument technology are more and more widely used in the field of industrial control.This thesis,based on the virtual instrument technology and fieldbus technology,designs a monitoring system integrating CAN bus and virtual instrument technology.Through the use of CAN bus technology,this system can realize distributed monitoring,so that virtual instrument technology can be applied in large-scale monitoring system.This thesis designs a kind of CAN bus application layer protocol,develops CAN bus communication bottom driver program, adopts LabVIEW to realize the CAN bus application layer protocol and CAN bus communication interface program on the computer.This system integrates virtual instrument technology and fieldbus technology,and adopts the LabVIEW software to develop the monitoring software system on the PC.This thesis is based on the actual project "Intelligent Monitoring of Rotating Machinery Protection System",adopting C8051F060 chip as the main controller in the field monitors and CAN bus as its bottom communication network.Computer communicates with the field monitors through CAN232MB protocol converter,The CAN bus communication driver program for the monitors is developed with the C language in the Silicon Laboratories IDE integrated development environment,and the monitoring software system on the computer is developed with the LabVIEW language to realize data acquisition and management and the monitors' working conditions.In this thesis,firstly the background knowledge of the issue is simply described,including the research purpose,significance and study of the current status at home and abroad.Secondly,fieldbus technology and virtual instrument technology are expounded to lay a theoretical foundation for later.Thirdly,the construction of monitoring system is explored,including the construction of hardware platform construction,the design of CAN bus application layer communication protocol and CAN bus communication driver on the bottom monitors,and the design of the monitoring program on the computer.This part focuses on analyzing the communication part of the monitoring system and gives a brief introduction to the management method of the field data.Finally,this thesis gives a summary and prospect that the works have been carried out and to be carried out in the future.
