With the economic globalization and media amalgamation becoming the trend, journalism education faces many problems related to what to teach and how to teach so as to produce qualified graduates needed by the media and society. This paper, based on the observation of China's journalism education and a survey of former graduates of international journalism in Xiamen University, presents the problems in today's journalism education in China and the feasible solutions to these problems concerning the courses designing, teachers training, media involvement, graduates network, resources exploitation, etc..This paper includes the following parts:Chapter one is an introduction which covers the significance of the topic, research method, literature review, etc.Chapter two deals with history and current situation of international journalism education in China, and discussion on the problems in international journalism education.Chapter three is about research method.Chapter four analyzes the results of the surveyChapter five presents the conclusions.Chapter six puts forwards some suggestions for the improvement of international journalism education.
