With the improvement of zoom lens optical system design theory and processing technology,the type of zoom lens is growing rapidly.In particular,various types of optical system design software improve the efficiency of the zoom lens design;camera lens has been widely applied in various areas of life.In this case,it is undoubted the great significance of studying the zoom lens on mobile phone.As the mobile phone becoming popularization,People will pursue its multi-purpose higher and higher. Might camera mobile phone is gradually to substitute the low-grade level digital camera,but not being able to satisfy the people's request.So if you want the camera mobile phone to have the high-grade molar performance which the upscale digital camera can achieve,more than five mega-pixels zoom and built-in camera lens is your best choice.In this case,studying the mobile phone design of the zoom lens system is undoubtedly of great significance.In this paper,the work is done by the following:Firstly,expound the history and development of the Camera phones, especially the role and development prospects of camera phones in this information age.Secondly,base on the real life of the optical lens system performance and quality requirements,the use of optical systems will meet the requirements of the optical system design,the current development trend of mobile phone camera and economic considerations,Selection structure and sensor type,the type of matching drive on mobile phones Zoom Lens.Thirdly,with the theory of zoom lens with all lens elements movable,to calculate a structure,Witch to meet the 56~0 field of view(FOV),2.5 optical zoom,eight mega-pixels requirement.Finally,time to other aspects of the exercise group and the like for the distance between the first lens group structure for the variable cam curve,the realization of built-in zoom lens camera phone optics design;Fourthly,Professional optical design software CODE V to optimize the entire design and image quality inspection system and found that systems such as surface imaging astigmatism,curvature of field and distortion are to meet the performance requirements of mobile phone camera,and spot size uniformity of dispersion,modulation transfer function(MTF) values in the spatial frequency greater than 201p/mm Office 0.8,greater than 0.1 in 2281p/mm Department.Tolerance analysis provides a range of allowable error of the processing for the lens.Fourthly,use Professional optical design software CODE V to optimize the entire design and image quality inspection system in order to find that the systems such as surface imaging astigmatism,curvature of field and distortion are to meet the performance requirements of mobile phone camera,and spot size uniformity of dispersion,modulation transfer function(MTF) values in the spatial frequency greater than 201p/mm Office 0.8,greater than 0.1 in 2281p/mm Department.Tolerance analysis provides a range of allowable error of the processing for the lens.Finally,Make sure if we can get the changed the structure mobile phone camera of higher magnification which based on calculating the 2.5 optical zoom camera phone.The results showed that in condition of 3-fold zoom,system imaging quality such as surface conditions changes the largest spatial frequency.When the modulation transfer function is more than 2501p/mm,the value will be less than 0.1.And this will limit the reach of this lens only five mega pixels.Therefore,the variable rate increases to achieve the requirements of the pixels is reduced.
